Found in Argentinian cuisine, Chimichurri is used both as an ingredient in cooking and as a table condiment for grilled meat. Our Shrub version of Chimichurri is flavorful and looks like a green goddess' salad 🥗 in a bottle when shaken. From basting roasted veggies to an au jus dip for seared steaks, our plant-based, organic Chimichurri Shrub is a favorite taste bomb 💣 for any meal!
Yield: Makes about 1 1/2 C.
1 can cannellini beans (15oz), drained & rinsed)
2 TBS tahini
1TBS + 2TBS (use to thin to desired consistency) Chimichurri Shrub 💚 by The Urban Farmhouse
2 TBS EVOO
1 clove of garlic 🧄
1 TBS shallot, minced
Pinch of sea salt
Garnish with a sprinkle of truffle salt, harissa flavored EVOO, fresh chives or basil and/or a sprinkle of black sesame seeds!
Instructions: 1. Place all ingredients in food processor except the 2TBS additional Chimichurri Shrub (use to thin to desired consistency) and blend smooth. 2. Taste and add any additional amounts of ingredients wanted, blend again. 3. If needed, add the separated 2 TBS Chimichurri Shrub, slowly until desired consistency. 4. Serve with fresh veggies, cocktail crackers, pita chips or bagel bites. 5. Stores great in an air tight container up to 6-7 days in the refrigerator.
